Greetings Constable Ayres,

I would like to personally thank you for doing what you can to mitigate the ongoing traffic crisis at the Jacob's Well school. Driving my daughter to school in the morning is like a hell, and now made worse by this latest incident.
Roundup article: http://hayscountyroundup.blogspot.com/2011/05/pct-3-constable-not-charging-district.html

I don't know what the School Board was thinking when they located our new school on a blind curve of the Blanco Highway. How many other schools in America shut down a state highway every morning? Certainly none of the other new schools in Central Texas. And as our school grows the situation will only get worse.

I can't imagine a solution other than move the highway, move the school, or buy the adjacent property. Whatever the solution, the School Board will expect tax payers to pay for it. If the individual members of the Board were made financially responsible for their fiascos our school taxes would not be nine times the national average.

I appreciate your good service Constable Ayres and you have my full support.

Sincerely, Terry Raines

It's all about money, dahling.

The Blacks sold the property to the school district. Winton Porterfield of Wimberley Springs was the "real estate agent" who collected a handsome commission on the deal.

Another neighborhood is platted which surrounds the Jacobs Well School in a semi-circle.

Someone should ask York and the board about this cozy relationship. It's all a matter of public record.
