Nice little educational tool. These are basics that board members of the HTGCD should consider sharing with its audience at each meeting, to give folks some kind of idea what they are all about and where they are headed in terms of their policy and direction. I'll pass it around. Thanks Roundup and thanks Mr. Backus.

Yes and it might also be time-saving to remind folks that the public comment period is not a debate.

It might also be helpful to remind folks that the DFC issue has been decided and that those that wish to pursue a different outcome - either increasing or decreasing the drawdown - may take that issue up with the Texas Water Development Board.

Utility customers of some of the local water utilities should also show up. They might want to see how their "neighbors" are actively opposing permits for the water utility. The prime objective of these neighbors is to deny water and to drive up rates to the detriment of the utility customer, the customer's property, and the utility.
